- With this utility, you can change priorities of running programs (on-the-fly).
-
- PSClient.exe is 'program launcher' for clients. Run without params to see
- usage. (Using idle as startup priority is not recommended)
- PSsrv.exe is server program to control clients.
-
- PSsrv commands:
-
- CHANGE PRIO Changes running clients priority. Asks client number
- which is shown in status window. Priority classes are:
- 1 Idle
- 2 Regular
- 3 Time Critical
- 4 Server
- Delta can range from -31 to 31, but OS/2 2.x uses
- only 0-31.
-
- KILL Kill client. Asks client number which is shown in
- status window.
-
- HELP Command summary.
-
- QUIT Exit server program.
-
- Note 1: Do not use with programs which self-control their priorities.
- Note 2: Maximum number of clients is 16.
